Milan Design Week 2026 is behind us – and once again, Milan proved to be the central meeting point of the international design scene. For PROLICHT, it was an intense and successful week, where our Starting Points became tangible across the city: with strong resonance, consistently high visitor frequency, and many personal conversations confirming the impact of our projects.

1.1 The Silos: SEN in post-industrial charm
In the original Gio Ponti grain silos, the London-based gallery Monument presented Forma Finita, a curated selection of vintage 1980s and 1990s furniture and objects.
Here, PROLICHT illumination was especially tangible. With its flexibility, precision and architectural purity, SEN revealed its full potential in interaction with architecture, art and light. Historic spaces, clear structures and precisely placed architectural lighting accents created a layered spatial experience, enhancing depth, atmosphere and perception.
The result was a setting in which light became a design language in its own right: adaptable, refined and emotionally resonant. This is what defines PROLICHT: the ability to combine innovation and architectural precision with a strong sense of atmosphere and space.

At the heart of the residency was the preview of Mua Mua, a new hotel concept located within the Mulino Estate, Curated by Ludovica Virga as a multidisciplinary hub, designed by Tom Dixon as a gift to the city of Milan, to become a space alive also after the design week.
Here the decorative pendants of Tom Dixon portfolio were integrated in the Prolicht GBoards Round, for unique and impressive modern chandelier compositions.

MELT Nickel and FLARE lights by Tom Dixon were combined with architectural lighting solutions by PROLICHT, creating a dialogue between decorative expression and precise spatial illumination.

3. OIDO @ Salone del Mobile: Enhancing Form Through Light
Our partner OIDO captured immediate attention with a bold and unmistakable presence at the fair.Defined by deep red tones, the stand created a strong and immersive visual identity. Clear arches, rhythmic sequences, and vertical structures generated spatial depth while intuitively guiding visitors. At its core, a sculptural composition of lamella elements, forming a powerful centerpiece. In dialogue with precisely integrated light lines, the installation achieved an almost iconic presence—both structured and atmospheric.As lighting partner, PROLICHT approached the project with the intention to support and elevate the architecture through light, without overpowering it. Conceived as an integral architectural layer, the lighting enhances perception, materiality, and orientation.

A week of exchange
The Design Week was characterized by high visitor frequency, intensive discussions, and continuous exchange with an international audience. Our locations became true meeting points – places where ideas emerged, projects were discussed, and new connections were formed.
